"Ducks On The Pond" is a metaphor used by baseball announcers across the country. It's origin goes back to the 1940's and is still used today. When there are "Ducks On The Pond", a team traditionally has one or more runners on base waiting to score. Often times bases loaded can be seen as a "Ducks On The Pond" situation where fans can rally support for the batter at the plate.
We teamed with CelebriDucks to create our version of the "Ducks On The Pond" duck who we named Izzie. Like baseball, the iconic traditional yellow rubber duck was first created in the United States before the whole industry moved overseas. CelebriDucks has returned the manufacturing of rubber ducks back to America and is the only company making them here again. We are proud to share our support of American industry with the love of baseball.
When you see "Ducks On The Pond" at your favorite ballpark, display your duck to motivate the batter to bring the runners home. Support becomes contagious so join our revival of old time baseball by celebrating one of America's favorite pastimes in a whole new way.
